and a note from Peter......
Hello visitors and welcome to the site. It appears to be growing rapidly and it’s all through word of mouth (no advertising, at least not yet) We can track how many hits it gets and what countries folks are visiting from. It would appear there are lots of people all over the world listening, downloading and pissed off. (some even at me!) I would like to do more house concerts and have some lined up in the Midwest in March. Also I plan to do some concerts next summer. If you are interested in having a house concert or you know somebody who is, please contact me. The Troubadours may join me if it’s in Calif. or if its in the summer. Also, I would like to play at festivals, but so far have not been able to get into ANY! People that book folks are scared of political material, and that’s pretty much what I write about. Also, I am pretty blunt about it which makes people nervous. But whenever I get a chance to play, especially when I am with the Troubadours, we get a very good reaction from listeners. So far my best supporters have been Veterans for Peace and Unitarian Universalists. I don’t have a promoter, so there is nobody pushing my stuff on radio. It gets played on public radio stations (KRCB and KPFA) and sometimes on Air America. I hear about it from friends –never from the station. I have sent stuff to well know media people, but they seldom get back to me. Unless you know them personally it's not likely to get past the gatekeepers. SO- if you know of ways to get my stuff out and /or get some gigs for me, it would be appreciated. Also, let me know if you hear it on the radio. Thanks, Peter Tracy. March 08.
